Tum meri aankh ke tewar na bhula paaoge
ankahi baat ko samjhoge toh yaad aaunga
Hum ne khushiyon tarah dukh bhi ikatthe dekhe
safha-e zeest ko paltoge toh yaad aaunga
Iss judaai mein tum andar se bikhar jaaoge
kisi mazoor ko dekhoge toh yaad aaunga
Issi andaaz mein hote the mukhaatib mujh se
khat kisi aur ko likhoge toh yaad aaunga
Meri khushbu tumhen kholegi gulaabon ki tarah
tum agar khud se na bologe toh yaad aaunga
Aaj toh mehfil-e yaaraan pe ho maghroor bahut
jab kabhi toot ke bikhroge toh yaad aaunga
