Tootay huwe dil ke afsaanay bhi bohat they
Is dil ko teri yaad ke bahanay bhi bohat they
Hum ne maana ke tum takaluf nah karo ge
Magar is tootay huwe dil ko aye sajaaney bhi bohat they
Teero talwar ki manind yeh jo tairay nain hain
Unhi naino ke deewany bhi bohat they
Beetay huwe lamhoon ke jo baqi they qissay
Un sabhi qisson ke parwanay bhi bohat they
Hum ne mangi thi jab maqtal mein jeeney ki dua Shami
Uss waqt hamein aye mrwane bhi bohat they
